Axon is a large ecosystem of interconnected products, teams, and priorities. My foundational role was to connect the dots across that ecosystem and identify opportunities for aligned efforts. Bringing design, business, and engineering together to solve complex workflows while balancing immediate needs with long-term product thinking.

UNDERSTAND
Find the gaps before solving them.
I start by auditing the landscape—how teams work, where systems diverge, and what users need. At Axon, I compared Figma libraries with live Storybook components, surfaced inconsistencies, and identified opportunities to create a more connected foundation.

Turn complexity into shared rules.
From those insights, I build the standards, patterns, and governance that create a shared source of truth. I helped define how components were built, documented, maintained, and evolved across design and engineering—reducing duplication and creating greater consistency.

Make the system work for everyone.
Governance only works when teams can actually use it. I created self-service documentation, led office hours and workshops, managed Figma libraries, and facilitated conversations around shared challenges like navigation, filters and process—giving teams clearer guidance and more ownership.

Bring it to life
Turn the foundation into better products.
I bring that shared foundation back into the product—simplifying complex multi-persona workflows, improving architecture and user flows, and evolving reusable patterns across Evidence.com, Axon Academy, and platform initiatives. The goal is bigger than one feature: more cohesive, scalable products and a better user experience over time.
